WAYLON XU,Registered Kinesiologist

Waylon graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. He also holds a Sport Science diploma from Douglas College.

Growing up in Vancouver, Waylon played plenty of traditional sports like basketball and volleyball, but eventually found his passion in breaking (or breakdancing). Now having developed his interpretation of the dance for over a decade with international competitive experiences, he is proud to mentor students to explore the dance together by building authentic identities, creative freedom, physical fitness, and community bonds. Waylon has set a strong foundation of general movement from weight training and exploring many physical disciplines.

Waylon hopes to transcend these qualities into all aspects of life having an open mind. With his diverse educational background and deep practical experiences, Waylon offers a holistic approach to health and looks forward to collaborating with all individuals to crush their unique physical goals, whether they are rehabilitating injuries, building strength, or learning new movement skills!
